Share Club app for iPhone and iPad

Made by makers of one of **App Store’s Best of 2016, 2015, 2014** apps and by creatives, Share Club aims to make photo & video gear more affordable and accessible.

We built Share Club as a trusted, peer-to-peer, renting marketplace for photo and video gear. Imagine it as an Airbnb for photo & video gear.

WHAT YOU CAN DO ON SHARE CLUB:
1. Rent Gadgets:
Share Club lets you discover photo and video gear listed by fellow photographers and filmmakers in your city and rent it from them at a fraction of the cost.

2. List Gadgets:
If youre like most filmmakers and photographers, you probably own some gear. And its not always put to use. With Share Club, you could rent it out to fellow creatives who want to use it for a short period of time.

3. Network:
Sure, the extra money is great, but the people you meet will have something in common with you if theyre interested in your gear. This will not only expand your professional network but also help you meet like-minded people.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Rent a Gadget
• Browse: Browse through the feed of available gadgets. Read through their descriptions and look at their pictures to check if its what youre looking for.
• Sign up: If you come across a gadget that youd like to rent, youll be asked to sign up with your Facebook account and add a photo-id. This is to ensure that only vetted and genuine people are a part of the community.
• Add a payment method:
We accept PayPal as the payment method. Dont worry, if you dont have a PayPal account, you will be able to create one on the go. We use PayPal because it is a secure, encrypted, and easy way to make and accept payments. It also masks your card details from us, which is good.

Thats it! Your request is now sent to the owner to accept. You can chat with the owner in the meantime in the Messages section even while they are reviewing your request.

2. List a gadget:

• Select a category: Select an appropriate category that applies to your gadget (e.g. Cameras, Lenses, Drones, etc.) from a list of available categories
• Take a picture: You can upload up to three pictures per listing from your mobile phone. You can either choose from your mobile gallery or take a fresh photo.
• Sign up: Youll be asked to sign up with your Facebook account and add a photo-id. This is to ensure that only vetted and genuine people are a part of the community.
• Set a payout method:
We accept PayPal as the payout method. Dont worry, if you dont have a PayPal account, you will be able to create one on the go.

Thats it! Your gadget is now listed on Share Club. If a fellow member is interested in renting your gadget, they will send you a request.

WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT SHARE CLUB?
* Vetting & Transparency:
We vet and verify every member. We have partnered with a reliable global identity verification services provider that instantly cross-references every members details against a range of verified databases to prevent identity fraud. This ensures that all Share Club members are genuine and they are who they say they are. We will soon have reviews and ratings that will help improve transparency.

*You are in control:
As an owner, you always decide who you rent to, and when. When a fellow member sends a request to rent a gadget that youve listed, it lands in your Messages section with all the information for you to approve. You can, of course, chat with the user before accepting their request.

*Security Deposit:
As an owner, you have the option to set a security deposit for your gadget. Share Club will securely hold this deposit up until 48 hours after the return date of the gadget. This deposit will be returned to the renter thereafter unless a dispute is raised by the owner.
